  In town for a week and ate there 3 times. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. A lovely quiet little restaurant where you can chat to (and hear) your dinner guests.

  Pretty disappointed with our visit after seeing the 4.7 review. I took my mum, dad and son for a birthday lunch and expected great food and staff however that was not our experience. Staff stretched to capacity clearly stressed which set the tone for our dining experience, food was average at best and overpriced - lamb was chewy, pizza base soft, pasta uninspired flavors. When the owner asked how our meals were I honestly conveyed our experience. She then become defensive rather than thank me for my feedback - a little more feedback: if you aren't open to accepting feedback that isn't positive, don't ask. I don't like leaving low reviews but I walked away really disappointed in my experience particularly at the end when the owner chose to dismiss my concerns rather than take it as an opportunity to improve the customer experience.
